The major averages ended Thursday on a modestly lower note, but they were able to climb off their opening lows. The S&P lost 0.1% after spending the day in a 12-point range.
Equity indices struggled in the early going after an overnight report from the Financial Times indicated that Greek officials had asked the IMF to reschedule debt repayments that will be due in May. The report was denied by the Greek Finance Minister, but it contributed to the lower start in the U.S.
NFLX was a monster today and ended the day +86.00 or 18%.
JUNO managed to squeeze out a new closing high and so did BLUE. But ANAC was our big winner today though, as it ripped to all time highs + $3.50 +5.4%.
There’s not a whole lot in the way of earnigs tomorrow (GE, HON, STX), but we have decent economic data as Core CPI, Michigan Sentiment and Leading Indicators all between 8:30 and 10 AM.
