This is still a fart in a windstorm by real correction standards but an al-Qaeda splinter group names ISIS is mucking up the market and pushing crude higher. Evidently when the Iraqi army saw these guys coming they threw off their uniforms and ran like bandits. I think they have taken over three Iraqi cities in as many days. Interesting stuff. This was quiet until late yesterday. Their flag is flying in these cites and they now have command centers. Good clean fun.
They name themselves ISIS. yesterday they knocked off a bank and took $500 million.
Starting yesterday morning and more today I advised subscribers to take partial profits and raise stops. We took some big gains and are watching things closely.
If it ends up being nothing, I buy them back.
Just remember that the market always looks for a reason to take some off and maybe this will be it. Just sayin’.
