Futures are higher after hours: S&P 500 futures are +11.14 from fair value of 1869.06 and Nasdaq100 futures are +50.04 from fair value of 3547.96. Nasdaq is up big after AAPL’s good earnings report, their announcement of a 7:1 stock split and increase in their stock buyback.
Facebook also reported earnings after the close. Initially the stock dropped almost $5, but it is now up slightly in after market.
The biotechs pulled back a little after two strong up days.
The Nasdaq and Russel bumped up against their respective 100 day moving average today and were turned back. The gap up open tomorrow should lift us through that.
