It would be nothing short of devastating to this market if European leaders start a cat fight this week. They really need to play nicely at the children’s table and listen to their parents.
The big meeting is Friday of this week. It’s Tebow time for Merkozy and crew. Past efforts have been as successful as a Rob Schneider movie, but the world is watching, so to avoid embarrassment this may work. We’ll see.
In other market moving news, Madonna will be performing the half time show at the Super Bowel ( I guess Lady Gaga was trapped in an egg somewhere), and Jon Corzine gets grilled this week. $NFLX has Herman Caine’s tears streaming live this morning and he has thrown his support to Newt. I think $AAPL should have Siri run in the Republican primaries.
