{+++}Sorry about last night, we had a small medical emergency with my daughter, everything is now fine. The market continues its low volume trek higher, once agin flirting with the 1100 level on the S&P. The greenback imploded and the market popped. It’s almost like the market wants to take a rest but then it looks over at the dollar and moves up. We’re catching some stops here and that is annoying me to no end, the longs tat I like (materials) are gapping up and I won’t chase them here(FCX)for example.
The real key here is 1100 and if we can close above that level it would probably make great sense to cover and look at some longs, but only on pullbacks. This is the most confusing market I’ve ever seen. Louise Yamada, one of the greatest technical analysts, and someone I follow, said the other day tat she has been doing this long enough to see it all and she has also been doing it long enough to be completely confused right here.
